Writer and director S. Asher Gelman brings his highly relevant play to Massachusetts for its second leg of the tour after finishing the first leg in Miami. Inspired by the events and discourse surrounding October 7th, 2023, the play centers on a Jewish family on vacation, divided by their political opinions and personal experiences with the Israel/Palestine conflict. The Zionists ended its run at Barrington Stage Company on July 3rd. The production has been highlighted by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and featured in an interview on WJFF Radio, among many other reviews, bringing the conversation surrounding the play to audiences across multiple platforms.
